REQUIREMENTS

1. **Age Requirement:** Customers must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years to operate a jet ski or be accompanied by an adult.
2. **Valid ID:** Customers must present a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, to verify their identity and age.
3. **Safety Briefing:** Customers must stay for a quick safety checklist provided by the rental company before operating the jet ski. This briefing typically covers safety guidelines, operating instructions, navigation rules, and emergency procedures.
4. **Signed Rental Agreement:** Customers must sign a rental agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the rental, including liability waivers, rental duration, fees, and responsibilities.
5. **Safety Equipment:** Customers must wear appropriate safety equipment, including a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device (PFD) or life jacket, while operating the jet ski. The rental company should provide the necessary safety equipment as part of the rental package.
6. **Understanding of Local Regulations:** Customers must familiarize themselves with local boating regulations, including speed limits, no-wake zones, navigation markers, and prohibited areas. Ignorance of these regulations is not an excuse for non-compliance.
7. **Experience Level:** With Dallas Avenue JET SKI, prior experience is not always required, customers will have a basic understanding of operating a jet ski and be comfortable in the water. We offer a FREE introductory lessons for inexperienced riders.
