3. **Safety Briefing:** Customers must stay for a quick safety checklist provided by the rental company before operating the jet ski. This briefing typically covers safety guidelines, operating instructions, navigation rules, and emergency procedures.
4. **Safety Equipment:** Customers must wear appropriate safety equipment, including a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device (PFD) or life jacket, while operating the jet ski. The rental company should provide the necessary safety equipment as part of the rental package.
